Clarence R. Lallemont

Clarence R. Lallemont, age 88, of Sheboygan, died on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at his home. He was born in Sturgeon Bay, WI on July 16, 1932, the son of the late Herbert and Amelia Konitzer Lallemont. From the age of 9 years old until he was 18, Clarence was raised by his foster parents, Henry and Lydia Olson in Ellison Bay, WI.
He attended Newport Elementary School and graduated from Gibraltar High School in Fish Creek, WI in 1950. Clarence then enlisted in the U.S. Army and served his country during the Korean War from 1952 until 1954. On October 1, 1955 he was united in marriage to June Majewski at St. John’s United Church of Christ in Sheboygan. Clarence and June had just celebrated 65 years of marriage.
He was employed at the Kohler Company, Amour Leather (the tannery) in the boiler romm, and unloaded trucks at the Piggly Wiggly warehouse in Sheboygan. Clarence was a current member of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Sheboygan, Sheboygan Kennel Club, Boy Scout Leader Troup 866, and the Saints senior dartball team.
Clarence had a passion for breeding and showing his beagles (Stylelines Beagles). He would show them at midwest dog shows, having four champions and hound group placing. Clarence loved his dogs very much. He enjoyed fishing and smoking fish, camping, traveling with friends, Wisconsin Badger Basketball, and the Green Bay Packers.
Survivors include his wife, June Lallemont, of Sheboygan; daughters, Susan Conn (Wayne Brandner), of Medford, WI, and Dawn (Richard) Navis, of Elkhart Lake; sons, Michael (Boonyanee) Lallemont, of Sheboygan, Brian (Dee) Lallemont, of Parkersburg, West Virginia; grandchildren, Danielle (Joe) Lorenz, Ryan Navis, Alex Navis, Jordan Lallemont and Kylie Lallemont; special friends, Debbie Drews and Carla Davis. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Jeanette Lallemont and Charlotte Wendler, two brothers, George Lallemont and Ted Lallemont, a sister-in-law, Dorothy Lallemont, son-in-law, Bill Conn and good friends, Al and Ione Udovich and his beagle, LC.
In accordance with the family’s wishes a private service will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Gardens of Peace Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Hylan officiating. Burial will take place in the Garden of Valor at Greenlawn Memorial Park with VFW 9156 providing military honors.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul’s U.C.C, the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, or the friends of Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek, WI.

I'm sorry to hear of Clarence's passing. I remember as a kid going to visit his dogs & try to pet them through the cages. My father, Floyd Cooper, liked talking to him too.
