David W. Grulkowski

David W. Grulkowski, age 75, of Sheboygan, died on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at St. Nicholas Hospital. Dave was born on September 4, 1947, the son of the late Leonard and Florence (Pavlichek) Grulkowski.
He attended and graduated from Wittenberg High School in 1965. Dave then was drafted into the United States Army in 1966, serving in Vietnam from September of 1967, until he came home in September 1968. Dave then started at Kohler Company in 1969 and retired after 41 years in 2009. Dave married Sandra Behnke on April 29, 1972, and they celebrated 51 years.
He loved to hunt, fish, and hang out with his friends and family. Dave also liked to play guitar with his brothers, his friends, and best friend John Tryba who played drums.
Dave is survived by his wife, Sandra Grulkowski; his children, Anthony (Renee) Grulkowski, Lee Grulkowski, and Stacey Grulkowski; a grandchild, Felicia Princl; sister, Jane Mishnick; his brothers, Larry (Kathy) Grulkowski, Mark Grulkowski, and Steve (Lisa) Grulkowski. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Earl, and Elvina Behnke.
A memorial service for Dave will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. A special thanks to Davita, for taking good care of Dave.
