Doris Fors was born on January 14, 1949 in Eureka, South Dakota and passed away on November 26, 2022 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Dori was united in marriage with Neill Fors on July 20, 1968 in Redfield, South Dakota.
Dori is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Fors Grinwald and Jeremy Grinwald; grandchildren, Lauren and Sam Kelm; sisters, brothers, and in-laws, Don and Linda Nagel, Pam Wilhelm, Chris and Jim Jeske, Jim Nagel, Kim Nagel and Janie Robbins, Richard Bottum; and Terri Fors. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, with special thanks to great nephews Preston and Kellan Wilhelm who filled Dori with love and light with every visit and hug. She is preceded in death by her husband, Neill; parents, Ruby and Lester Nagel; brothers, Jerry and Gary Nagel; and in-laws, Earl Wilhelm; Henry and Darlene (Peg) Reddies; Ken Fors; Patricia Bottum; Mary and Myron Nelson.
The family would like to thank the Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center staff, especially Molly S., as well as the hospice staff for the care and compassion they showed Dori and our family.
For those that knew Dori, she was an incredibly loving and generous soul and is going to be missed by more than she would imagine. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date to celebrate both she and Neill’s lives.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the charity of your choice. Dori often wished she had more to give and would love if you supported what was near and dear to your heart instead of sending flowers. If you must honor her, please consider donating to your local Humane Society as Dori was a proud dog mom and was adopted by a stray cat that she cherished.

My heart is broken with passing of Dori. She was one classy lady! I so admired her strong organizational and leadership skills. Her kind, warm heart and infectious laugh was a gift and blessing to all who had the privilege of knowing her! May warm and loving memories soon replace the sorrow. Hugs and love to Jen and family!

May our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all in a special way during this time, and draw you close to His heart of love. I remember Doris from when the Nagel’s lived in Aberdeen, SD. Doris gracefully fulfilled the role as oldest daughter in a large family with several children.

My condolences and prayers to your entire family. I am thankful for the opportunities that I was able to learn and work with Dori over the years at Johnsonville. She was so willing to help me to learn and grow and I got to know her a lot better as a result she was a wonderful person.
