Frederick M. Stanisch Sr., age 66 of Sheboygan, died unexpectedly at home on October 31, 2021.
Fred “Rocky” was born in Sheboygan on July 8, 1955, graduating from North High School in 1973. He later joined the United States Army and enjoyed time stationed in Germany, among other places. During his time in the service, he was married to Pamela J. Graf and together had two children: Marc and Frederick Jr. He joined hands in marriage to Deborah Petry (Holaric) June 30, 1992, uniting two families as one.
During his post service, civilian years, he enjoyed work at Lakeshore Display Co for 30 years; initially in assembly, becoming a supervisor and later as a model maker, of which he was most proud of. He officially retired March of 2020.
Fred loved hunting, train watching, riding his motorcycle, traveling to the Mississippi River, and spending time with his growing family. He also held memberships to the American Legion and the Sheboygan Rifle & Pistol Club.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah, of 29 years; children: Marc Stanisch of Sheboygan, Robert (Serena) Petry of New Holstein, WI, Fred (Laura) Stanisch Jr., of Two Rivers, WI, Victoria (Paul) Burgard of Sheboygan, Dustin McGee of Sheboygan, and Melissa McGee, of Sheboygan; grandchildren: Xavier, Alexis, Lily, Gavin, Katelyn, Alexander, Mya, Bennet, Ariel, Alicia and Ethan; brothers and sisters: Cindy (Ed) Evanoff of Sheboygan Falls, Tori (Mike) Brott of Sheboygan, Jim (Kathy) Ribar of Kenosha, Tina (Elvis) Ridgeway of Bloomington, IL, Steve Holaric of Hudson, IL and mother-in-law: Elizabeth Holaric of Bloomington, IL. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick P. Stanisch and Francis Stanisch, and grandson, Daniel.
Visitation will be held at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, on Saturday November 6, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place with an intimate family gathering at Wildwood Cemetery at a later date.
