Joseph Charles Champeau
Always remembered and not forgotten.
Joseph Charles Champeau, age 41, born December 30, 1984 and passed away on June 27, 2026. The Good Lord saw him getting tired and a cure was not to be. His golden heart stopped beating, his hard-working hands put to rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
Joseph is survived by his son, Nolyn C. Allen and Nolyn’s mother, Ashley.
Joseph recently lost his father, Ralph S. Champeau Jr., at the age of 60. They were both father and son and best friends.
His mother Susan G. Champeau survives him. “He was the best son ever. Joseph was truly deeply loved and will always be in my heart and in my soul. He was a kind and generous soul with a heart of gold.” Joseph was very thoughtful who never missed an opportunity to help others. He had an extremely generous spirit. Joey’s warm smile, and laughter we had will always be in my heart for eternity. My son was my sunshine and my world with the best of times. I will always remember the times riding his motorcycle and fishing together and all of his surprises.
Joseph is also survived by, aunts, Brenda and Sandra; nephews, Steven (Karie), Brett (Becky) and Theo and great-nieces, Lilly and Nikki. He is further survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many best of friends and brothers.
Joseph is preceded in death by his father, Ralph S. Champeau Jr.; grandparents, Ralph and Judy Champeau and grandparents, Joseph and Louise Anthonijs; uncles, Marco and Jack Anthonijs and Nolyn’s grandmother, Nan.
Joseph loved riding his Harly Davidson motorcycle with his music on more than anything, he also enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially bow hunting and just being in the great outdoors. He was also an exceptional cook for everyone whether that be grilling out, fish fry’s, boils and briskets. Joseph was an extraordinary bowler especially in his younger years, bowling 300 games, and even 800 series with his father, Ralph.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th, St., Sheboygan from 1:00 p.m. until the time of family sharing at 3:00 p.m.
May his memory continue to shine on for all eternity. As friends, brothers and family we look up into the stars on a warm summer Saturday night, we know he will always remain alive in all of our hearts and souls.
