Karl Brom, age 68 of Sheboygan passed away Wednesday May 18, 2022, at St. Nicholas Hospital. Karl was born April 14, 1954, in Sheboygan to the late Carl and Louise (Raasch) Brom. Karl was a 1972 graduate of South High School. He was employed at Rodewald Buick as an auto mechanic for over 30 years and at Gibbsville Cheese for 15 years. Karl was an avid hunter, enjoyed sprint car racing and being part of a pit crew at the Sheboygan County fairgrounds. Karl cherished the time spent with family; especially attending his grandson Carter’s sporting events.
Survivors include his daughters Andria (Tony) Haag and their son Carter of Racine and Amanda Brom (fiancé Cole) of Sheboygan, sister Kerry (Buddy) Mueller of Sheboygan, niece Terri (Mike) Barber of Sheboygan and by other relatives and friends.
Karl was preceded in death by his parents and a sister and brother-in-law Barbara (Bill) Bahlow.
Family and friends may gather at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. Pastor Adam Scheblein will officiate.
Karl’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Nicholas Hospital, especially the fantastic ICU doctors and nursing staff, for their care and compassion.
