Kurt J. Teskey, of Colorado Springs, (formerly of Sheboygan) died on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at his home. He was born in Sheboygan on January 19, 1961, the son of the late James and Margaret Hall Teskey.
He attended local schools in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan South High School. On September 19, 1982 he was married to Deborah Smith in Sheboygan. While living in Sheboygan he was a truck driver for various companies in Sheboygan and Ozaukee counties. Kurt was most recently a plumber in Colorado Springs.
He adored his two sons, Kurt and Rourke, and enjoyed fishing, music and bowling. He also liked to spend time with his friends. Kurt was and avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan and loved to be in Wisconsin.
Survivors include his two sons, Kurt and Rourke Teskey; three sisters, Jamie (Lee) Johnson, Diane (Jack Stewart) Teskey and Sandra (David) Gosse; three nieces, Rebecca, Kelsey and Danielle Gosse; a nephew, Steven Teskey and his close friends, Ralph Champeau, Kathy and Jay Dern. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Kurt was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service for Kurt will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St. Sheboygan with Rev. Adam L. Scheblein officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reinboldfh.com

I am so sorry to hear about Kurt’ s passing. He was a great soul and will be missed. I have not seen him in years and it saddens me to hear he is gone. May he be in peace with the Lord and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. I often thought about Kurt and hoped he was enjoying life in Colorado.
