Margaret “Peggy” Maitland, age 77, of Sheboygan passed away Friday, November 18, 2022. Peggy was born May 30, 1945, in Oshkosh to the late Robert and Lucille (Jakubiak) Hansan. She was employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance and then at Nemschoff Chairs for many years, prior to her retirement. Peggy was a faithful member of St. Peter Claver Church, serving on several committees over the years. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing cards with friends and cats.
Survivors include her two sons Kenneth (Judith Dreiling) Maitland, Robert Maitland of Sheboygan grandchildren Kyle Kudirko of Green Bay, Morgan Maitland of Sheboygan, and nephews Dave (Laurie) Reuter, and Steve Reuter both of Sheboygan.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Louann (Frank) Reuter, Joann Hansan, and Patricia Hansan and family friend Ardelle Nack.
Family and friends may call at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street on Tuesday November 29, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m. Fr. Paul Fliss from St. Peter Claver Catholic Church will officiate. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for Sunny Ridge Nursing Home in Peggy’s name.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of Sunny Ridge Nursing Home for the wonderful heartfelt care that Peggy received.
