Virginia “Ginny” Quinn Duchow

Virginia Duchow, age 78 of Sheboygan, passed away early Thursday morning, October 28, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Virginia was born September 4, 1943 in Marquette, MI to the late Morgan and Dorothy (Becker) Quinn. She attended schools in Marquette, MI and graduated from Marinette Catholic Central High School. Virginia was united in marriage to Frank Duchow on January 2, 1975 in Las Vegas; he preceded her in death June 30, 1998.
Virginia was a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years and was employed by various Sheboygan nursing homes. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting, crocheting, and reading. She also loved to exchange recipes, books, and patterns with friends. Virginia was a warm and loving person, who had time to talk and visit with every person she knew and will be fondly remembered.
Survivors include her daughter Beth (Peter) Molitor of Sheboygan, grandchildren Matthew Molitor and Morgan Molitor, brother-in-law Jeffrey Gruenke, her nieces and nephews, Tracy (Ron) Noll, Jeffrey Gruenke Jr., Krista (Steve) Cobb and Becky (Tony Flowers) Gruenke. She is further survived by her stepmother Shirley (Ray) Quinn Reinhardt, stepbrothers Stephen Fredrick and David Fredrick, stepsister Cheri Fredrick Kleffner, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, and nephews. Also survived by Frank’s children Bonnie Norenberg, her daughter Anne, and Frank (Ann) Duchow, and his children Emilie and Nyssa.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband Frank and a sister Patricia Gruenke.
Family and friends may gather at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th Street on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in her name.
