Yvonne S. Combs, age 94, of Sheboygan, died on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. She was born in Chicago, IL on January 6, 1927, the daughter of the late Robert and Lucille Allen Yugovich.
She attended schools in Chicago and graduated from Bowen High School. On March 1, 1947, she was united in marriage to Lee Combs in Chicago. Yvonne was an Avon Sales Representative for 50 years.
Yvonne was a current member of the Evangelical Free Church in Sheboygan. She enjoyed photography and trips to the Fireside Theatre. Yvonne was charge to parent’s skits while her children were in school.
Survivors include her two sons, Lee E. Combs Jr., and Glen (Carolyn) A. Combs, both of Sheboygan; a daughter, Patricia (Dan) Vandervort, of Louisiana; grandchildren, Calley Gerber, Melissa George, ChristyLee(Stuart) Babin, and Jamie (Shane) Price; great-grandchildren, Ashlee George, Brooklynn Babin, Ryder Babin, Ivy Price, Lyra Vandervort and Kellen Price; her sister, Melava King, of Indiana. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Dorothy Esler, and her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Jacqueline Yugovich Jr.
A funeral service for Yvonne will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church, 1710 N. 15th Street, Sheboygan with Pastor Jon MacDonald officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Wednesday afternoon from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
