Beverly Ann (Kunstman) Pfister, danced her way into heaven on Friday, April 14, 2023, at the age of 84. Beverly was born on March 20, 1939, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Ertel) Kunstman.
She attended Ebenezer Lutheran Church and School, North and Central High schools, and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, all in Sheboygan. Beverly was united in marriage to Wayne Pfister in 1956, they were married for 55 years. As an adult, she taught Sunday School for many years and faithfully attended Bible Class every week. She was a waitress at Scenic Bar and Restaurant and Charcoal Inn for many years. She also worked at Old Wisconsin Sausage.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, flower arranging, reading, rummaging, and creative writing. Beverly was an amazing woman of faith, as well as a loving wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. Anyone who knew Beverly could attest to her loving manner. People were drawn to her sunny disposition and caring personality. Her family and friends are blessed to have had her these 84 years.
Beverly is survived by her three children, Terri (Douglas) Stine, Wayne Pfister Jr., and Steven Pfister; seven grandchildren, Bradley Wolfert, Nicole (Kyle) Hadaway, Carly Pfister, Andrew, Gregory and Kaitlyn Pfister, Cody Smith; her sister, Carol (James) Wolfgram; and her three sisters-in-law, Faye Konen, Sonya Belle Pfister, and Marilyn Pfitster. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wayne Pfister Sr., sisters, Vivian Petersohn and Shirley Fazalare, a brother, John Kunstman, daughters-in-law, Julie Pfister and Christie Pfister, brothers-in law, John Pfister, Ronald Pfister, James Pfister, and sister-in-law, Marcia Cook.
There will be a private, family, Celebration of Life to honor Beverly. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Sheboygan Humane Society in Beverly’s name will have her smiling in heaven. She loved her many pets, and the squirrels in her yard would eat peanuts right out of her hands. Beverly, we will hold you in our hearts until we can hold you in heaven.
