Pamela Dawn “Pam” Berger passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 70, in Milwaukee, WI. Pam was born on December 23, 1952, in Waukesha, WI to the late Jerrold and Isabelle (née Carpenter) Berger. While Pam had suffered from health issues over the last several years, her death, due to complications from a fall at home, was a surprise to all.
Pam attended Carroll College for her higher education where she was in the ROTC program. She then served in the U.S. Army as a 1st Lieutenant at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO., from 1975-78, followed by a year in the Army Reserves.
After her military service, Pam pursued a career as a real estate broker. She enjoyed her work and had a successful career.
Pam was the family historian and loved researching her ancestry. She enjoyed reading tarot cards and palms and she was an avid reader of all things. She was always curious about the unknown and loved to learn, most recently taking a class in Swedish.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Corinne Heintz; brother, Jerry Berger, Jr; nieces, Heather and Amanda; maternal aunt, Darlene Williams; special cousin, Tammy Willgrubs; and other family members and friends. Pam was preceded in death by her son, Paul Heintz, her parents, and a brother Shawn Berger.
Family and friends will gather at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI, Monday, May 22, 2023, at 1:30 p.m., for Pam’s committal service with Military Honors.
Pam will be remembered for her dedication to her work, her love of learning, and her kind and curious nature. She will be deeply missed by her loved ones and all those who knew her.
