Maria L. Leubner, age 60, passed away peacefully with her loving family around her on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Maria was born in Sheboygan on February 3, 1963 to John & Betty Puksich. She was a graduate of North High School, and attended Edgewood College in Madison WI.
Maria’s greatest joy was spending time with her children and family. Maria recently retired from Aurora Medical Center.
Maria is survived by her children, David Leubner, Thomas Leubner (significant other Tia Reyes), and Sydney (Kever) Leubner-Kersten of Sheboygan. She is further survived by her sisters, Debra L. (David) DeAmico and Amy J. (Steve) Spannagle; sister-in-law, Julie A. Puksich, nieces & nephews William J. (Kelly) DeAmico, Christopher (Rachel) Spannagle, Ryan (Sally) Spannagle, Jessica (Matt) Rybarcyk , Jennifer Haneman, Hilary (Chris) Collins; grand nephews and nieces; ex-husband, Michael Leubner; aunt, Betty Jane Kauger; uncles, Steve (Jackie) Puksich, and George (Lois) Puksich and other relatives and friends.
She was proceeded in death by her son, Daniel; parents and grandparents.
Celebration of Life for Maria will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at the Knights of Columbus, 833 Center Ave., Sheboygan, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A memorial fund is being set up in Maria’s name.
Maria’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Maria’s doctors, Aurora Medical staff, and the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

My thoughts and prayers to Maria's children and sisters Debbie, Amy, and Julie and families. Maria was such a beautiful soul both inside and out, I will miss her dearly. I was so blessed to have her as a cousin.

My beautiful sweet cousin. I hope the angels know what they have. I will miss you dearly yet I know you’ll be there to greet me one day. I love you so much Maria. My thoughts and love are with you all. . May she rest in the arms of the angels.
