Sandra J. Shellingosky, age 77, of Sheboygan, died on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center-Sheboygan. She was born in Sheboygan on May 11, 1946.
Sandra attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1964. On July 11, 1964, she was united in marriage to Walter Shellingosky in Sheboygan. Sandra was employed at Wigwam Mills and retired from Cousin’s Subs in Sheboygan.
Sandra was a current member St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, listening to Elvis Presley and was an avid Green Bay Packer and Nascar fan. Sandra adored and loved her family; she would spend as much time with them as she could.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Shellingosky, of Sheboygan; three children, Jeanine “Gina” (Steve) Wakefield, Jodi Shellingosky, and Walter Scott Shellingosky IV, all of Sheboygan; two grandchildren, Derek (Tori) Wakefield, of Adell, and Nicole (Levi) Bender, of Howards Grove; eight great-grandchildren, Mason, Noah, Lincoln, Ana, Harrison, Ruby, Chase, and Beckham; and her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, John and Shirley Vertacic, of Sheboygan. Many other relatives and friends further survive Sandra. Her mother, Virginia Miller, and her brother, Jerry Miller, both preceded her in death.
A memorial service for Sandra will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan, WI, with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to Aurora Hospice, the critical care unit at Aurora Medical Center-Sheboygan for the compassion and care that was given to Sandra. Also a special thanks to the neighbors on Knoll Crest Drive. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Sandra’s name.
