Floyd Carl Siegl, 74, of Sheboygan, passed away on April 15, 2024 at Sheboygan Progressive Health Services. Floyd was born in Sheboygan to the late Ulrich and Gladys (Hoffmann) Siegl on November 1, 1949. He attended local Sheboygan schools and worked at Heritage Nursing Home as a dishwasher. Floyd loved country music, especially Charley Pride. He fulfilled his lifelong dream by going to the Wisconsin Dells and seeing Charley Pride live in concert in the front row and shaking his hand. He enjoyed watching the Packers and Brewers and walking downtown when he was able to. Floyd’s independence was of great importance to him and he appreciated his ability to do the things he loved.
Floyd is survived by sister, Joan Bolle; sister-in-law, Carol Siegl; nieces Wendy (David) Young, Jennifer (Christian) Cruz, Darcy (Michael) Specker, Dara (Matt) Carter; nephews Scott (Ann) Adamavich, Kevin (Kelly Eake) Adamavich, Dennis (Lisa) Bolle and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ulrich and Gladys (Hoffmann) Siegl; sister and brother-in-law Alice and Phillip Adamavich; brother Glenn Siegl and brother-in-law Herman Bolle and many other relatives.
A funeral service for Floyd will be held on Monday, April 22, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Private interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
The family expresses their gratitude to all those who cared for Floyd, especially his nieces Wendy and Jen. We are grateful to Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for the compassionate care of Floyd during his last weeks, and to the Progressive nursing care team, especially Celeste and Tricia, for the support and care over the last few years.
