LaVerne Rammer, 92, of Sheboygan passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 after a short visit to Sharon S. Richardson Hospice. LaVerne was born to the late Ewald and Anita (Reinemann) Anger in Sheboygan on February 27, 1932. She graduated from Sheboygan Central High School. LaVerne was united in marriage to James Rammer at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan on August 16, 1952. LaVerne was a secretary at Mayline where she eventually retired. She enjoyed bowling at the Elk’s Club, Dart League and enjoyed puzzles and managing her flower gardens at home in her later years. She loved watching the Bucks and Green Bay Packers and her trips north to Oneida Casino. She also ran her own business “Cellar of Tropicals” from her home where she bred, raised, and sold tropical fish and necessary supplies for them.
LaVerne is survived by her children, Barbara Pozenel, Patricia Rammer, Debra Lauersdorf and David Rammer; grandchildren, Aaron (Carrie) Lauersdorf, Sarah (Dane) Regis-Anderson, Bradley Lauersdorf and Lindsey (Jeremy) Jochman; great-grandchildren, Nolan and Madison Lauersdorf, William “Billy” and Weldin Regis-Anderson and Penelope Jochman; sister, Sandy Bolz; special friend, Debbie Schaetzer who knows LaVerne to the “root”.
LaVerne was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, son Michael, son-in-law Tim Pozenel and sister Marilyn Eberhardt.
A private service will be held at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in her name.
