Edward “Ed” A. Kletzien

Edward A. Kletzien, age 64, of Sheboygan Falls, died on Friday, September 6, 2024. He was born on July 10, 1960, the son of Edward F. and Maryann (Ehren) Kletzien.
Ed attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1978. On July 12, 1980, he was united in marriage to Ruth Nelson in Sheboygan. Ed was employed as a draftsman for Earth Tech, Kohler Company, and Boldt Construction.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at the cabin in Pembine. Ed was also a lifelong member of the NRA. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and good friends, Tom and Carrie.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Kletzien, of Sheboygan Falls; two sons, Ben (girlfriend April) Kletzien, of South Carolina, and Tim (Abbey) Kletzien, of Glenbeulah; four grandchildren, Jacob, Zach, Eric, and Claire Kletzien; his mother, Maryann Kletzien, of Sheboygan Falls; a sister, Pat Kletzien, of Plymouth; two brothers, Ron (girlfriend Fiona) Kletzien, of Sheboygan, and Jeff (Lori) Kletzien, of Plymouth; and a brother-in-law, Jack Nelson, of Madison. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive. Ed was preceded in death by his father, mother-in-law and father-in-law, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, David and Patty Nelson, and his hunting buddy, “Hershey.”
A memorial service for Ed will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Pastor Heidi Borkenhagen officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday afternoon from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Ed’s name. A heartfelt thank you is extended to the staff at Pine Haven Christian Home, Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, and Froedtert Hospital for the compassion and care that was given to Ed.
