Norma Ellen Davison, age 96 of Sheboygan, Wisconsin passed away September 23rd, 2024. Norma was born June 20th, 1928, in Livingston, Wisconsin to the late Robert and Amelia (Halvorson) Allen. Norma attended Livingston area schools and graduated from Livingston High School in 1945. Norma was united in marriage to James Davison on August 2nd, 1952, in Livingston; Jim preceded her in death January 12th, 1994. Norma worked at the H.C. Prange Company prior to working at Wisconsin Telephone until she retired in 1983.
Norma is survived by her brother Charles (Jeanne) Allen of Mauston. Norma’s extended family is comprised of many nieces, nephews, and cousins from both the Allen and Davison branches of the family. All were special to her. Norma was especially thankful for some very faithful neighbors she considered as family.
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Lieutenant Donald Allen (killed in action during WWII), Burdette, Elden, Kenneth, Thomas, sisters Vivian Leighty and Juanita Carroll, nephews Larry and Michael Leighty and brother-in-law Lloyd (Leora) Davison.
A memorial service for Norma will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 9th at 11am at Rock Church Cemetery in Livingston, Wisconsin with Pastor Jim Allen from Trinity Evangelical Church in Mount Vernon, Indiana officiating. Family and friends may gather early at Rock Church at 10am for visitation prior to the memorial service. In lieu of flowers all contributions will be equally divided between the Rock Church Memorial Society, Inc for the upkeep of the Church and the Food Pantry of the Free Methodist Church in Livingston. A Graveside service will take place at Rock Church Cemetery immediately following the memorial service.

Norma and Jim were my sponsors and good friends of my family. Had a lot of good times with both. When we were little girls, Norma gave the three of us permanents. Every year Norma’s was the first Christmas card I got. She will be missed.

I was Norma and Jim's paperboy when they moved into their new home on the south side of Sheboygan. I have fond memories of both of them. Missing them both.
