Richard “Dick” L. Felker

Richard Felker was born on January 21, 1948 and passed away on October 17, 2024 at the age of 76. He graduated from South Milwaukee High School and continued his education at UW Milwaukee earning his degree in engineering and later his Masters of Engineering from UW Madison in 2004. Richard was united in marriage with Jean Hemschemeyer in the Town of Rhine on September 11, 1971. During his working years, he was employed by the Kohler Company for 40 years until his retirement in 2011. Richard enjoyed golfing, particularly with the FKHL & L golf pals, going to Road America, watching sports, going to all of his children’s and grandchildren’s activities, baseball games with “The Brew Crew” and concerts and vacation trips with the Liebelts.
Richard is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Jed (Ann) Felker and Seth Felker (significant other Vanessa Voss); grandchildren, Hannah Felker (fiancé Garrett Junemann), Logan Felker, Amelia Felker and Henry Felker. He is further survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Elsie Felker; sister, Judith (Jack) Kunath and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, a local food pantry or Meals on Wheels in Richard’s name are appreciated.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Michael Johnson, nurse practitioner Theresa, Fresenius Dialysis staff, and all of his family and friends for the care and support given to Richard as well as to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their comfort in his final days.
