Carol Jean Molinaro, 70, of Sheboygan, passed away on December 27, 2024. Carol Jean was born on January 28, 1954, in Aurora, Illinois to the late Carroll Underwood and Elizabeth Molinaro. After moving to WI, Carol Jean attended Urban Junior High School and graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the class of 1973.
Carol Jean enjoyed plants and flowers, her favorite being carnations. She was quite the green thumb. Carol Jean was an avid Elvis fan and was able to fulfill one of her lifelong dreams of finally making it to Graceland in 2022. She loved to sing and dance, especially to Patsy Cline songs and anything rock and roll. Carol Jean enjoyed traveling and crocheting, always making sure each family member had a homemade blanket when they were born. She was a die-hard Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, seeing another one of her dreams come true with the Cubs 2016 World Series win. Carol Jean loved animals and had several pets including a 28-year-old white dove named Monica, finch, parakeets, fish, hamsters, and rabbits. She especially loved her grandpups, Bear, Charlie, Greyson, and Betty. Carol Jean was the life of the party, and she was always up for an adventure. She was a 13-year cancer survivor and lived every day to the fullest.
Carol Jean is survived by her children, Corrina and Gina Molinaro; granddaughter, Amiyah Pointer; siblings, Donald (Jo) Molinaro and Cynthia (Rodney) Velier; nieces and nephews, Anthony (Christina) Drews, Eric (Mary Ann) Molinaro, Chris Molinaro, Anne (Jeff) Legemaat, Rodney (Emily) Velier Jr., Heather (Omar) Velier, Joseph (Olivia) Velier, Elizabeth Velier, Sophia (Brock) Velier, Micheal Velier, Jonathan Velier and Daniel Velier; aunts, Elaine Pajic, Marlene Johnson and Tanya Kahoun and best friends, Gloria Scharenbroch, Denise Velare and Joan Kress. She is further survived by great nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends.
Carol Jean is preceded in death by her parents, Carroll Underwood and Elizabeth Molinaro; great nephew, Dustin Drews; aunts, Francis Grant, Joyce Kimmel, Nancy Taylor and Joyce Harlan; uncles, Ronald (Ronnie) Kahoun and Charles (Sonny) Kahoun.
Private graveside services will be held at a later date. A memorial fund is being established in her name.
