Thomas “Tom” Burgin age 66 of Sheboygan passed away Tuesday February 25, 2025. Tom was born November 27, 1958, in Sheboygan to the late Raymond and Dolores (Bell) Burgin. Tom was united in marriage to Susan Reimer on October 6, 1979, at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Tom was an auto mechanic, working for Bell’s Auto and then at Sheboygan Chevrolet until his retirement in 2022. He was a member of the Farmer’s and Sportsman’s Club and Pheasants Forever.
Survivors include his loving wife Susan “Sue”, sons Christopher (significant other Kim Bassuener) Burgin and Scott A. (Jamie) Burgin of Oostburg, granddaughter Brielynn, sisters Maureen (Hank) Louisa of Kansas City, KS, Lori Retzloff of Atlanta, GA, brothers-in-law Michael Reimer Sr. and James Hermann, sisters-in-law Michelle (Peter) Sjollema of Sheboygan and Christine Dietrich of Apache Junction, AZ. Tom is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law and mother-in-law Henry and Rose Marie Reimer, sisters Susan Urner-Hermann and Jennifer Burgin, sisters-in-law Jacqueline (Kim) Barden and Judith Reimer, brothers-in-law Kurt Reimer and Mark Dietrich Sr.
Family and friends may gather at Zion Church, 1125 N. 6th Street, Sheboygan on Wednesday March 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Chris McKnight will officiate. Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Mausoleum.
