Charlotte was such a generous woman! She was at every church event. She always was at the cashier and/or welcoming table. She generously contributed cookies for any bake sale or event. She memorably baked many different kinds of cookies for the teens that went on mission trips. She would pack them all up and the teens delighted in having the cookies on the bus to and from. She definitely was appreciated as "the cookie lady". All Charlotte asked for was an occasional bag of flour. Charlotte could be seen walking from her home on Franklin to the senior center or downtown. Only one time did she take a ride to the bank and home again. She was feeling tired that day. Charlotte also shared a birthday with my mother. I enjoyed remembering Charlotte with a birthday card, but had lost track of her. I will always think of our dear Charlotte on her birthday.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss.. I used to be the secretary at St. Clement Parish and your mom came in frequently, often bringing cookies for some event or organization. She was our parish cookie lady! My son had a summer job there and she also shared cookies with the employees. He loved her potato chip cookies and she remembered that and brought him some when he came home on college break. She shared her with me and I still have it. Your mom was a good, kind lady. We missed her at St. Clement when she could no longer get to church.
