So sad for the family of Mike. I was a friend of Billw also. I seen Mike help out sponsor people in Recovery. He was always dedicated to help someone in Recovery. So sorry for your loss Jan.

My heart is deeply saddened. Mike played a huge role in helping me to obtain and hold my 28 years of sobriety. He thought of me, gave his time to me, went out of his way for me and prayed for me. Most importantly, he cared for me. He was the Hammer that helped break the old vestiges of what I was as a drunk. My deepest condolences to Jan and family.

Mike was my sponsor (twice) and a friend for many years. I am sad to hear of his passing and offer my sincere sympathy to those who loved him as I did.
