Arlette Girdaukas, 78, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice surrounded by her family. Arlette was born to the late Edwin and Helen Voigt on December 27, 1946 in Shawano, WI. She graduated from Sheboygan South High School. Arlette was united in marriage to the love of her life, Timothy Girdaukas on January 28, 1967. Together they raised two children, Corey and Kelly. She and her sister Audrey had a business called Personal Touch where they created one-of-a-kind apparel for weddings. They also had long-time involvement with the Festival of Trees where they won many first-place prizes for their creativity. Arlette greatly enjoyed her involvement with the Kohler Village Players, where she was involved in creating the costume designs. She was very handy and creative and was always giving of herself to others. Family was Arlette’s life and she enjoyed the many times camping, fishing, holidays and other get togethers with them. Arlette was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls.
Arlette is survived by her husband of 58 years, Timothy; children, Corey Girdaukas and Kelly (Jeffrey) Davis; seven grandchildren, Jordyn, Colin and Nolan Girdaukas and Delaney, Amanda, Evan and Caitlin Davis. She is further survived by her sisters, Joyce Malwitz, Audrey (Lee) Reinemann and Judy Weiss as well as Stacey Girdaukas, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ron; brothers-in-law, Tom Malwitz and Herbert Weiss; Goddaughter, Julie Hansen and nephew, David Voigt.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 8, 2025 at Blessed Trinity Parish, 319 Giddings Ave., Sheboygan Falls, with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10:30 a.m. Private interment will take place in the Chapel of Eternal Light at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Arlette’s name to the Sheboygan Cancer and Blood Specialists or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Bettag and his staff for the professional and loving care over the past two and a half years, as well as Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their care in her final days.
