It's hard to believe my little brother has moved on to heaven.... so many precious memories. Little Stevie as a preschooler playing "church" with his little sister Debbie... and when Mom asked which one was the priest, his response: "Neiver of us...we's both the penny takers." Stevie wanting to play house with us, his two older sisters--and we let him play but made him be the dog... but he was more generous--allowing me to play with his tinker-toys and his erector set! Then when Dad died so suddenly at 58, Steve stepped up and took us under his wing... I was in the convent in FdL at the time, and he was always willing to bring Mom for a visit with me, or pick me up and transport me for events. As he aged, he could be crabby and complain...but he had a huge heart until the very end. I will miss him immensely... and I look forward to the big reunion in heaven! I'm sure Mom is rejoicing to her boy home in heaven with her!
