Marianne Stempihar, age 82, of Sheboygan, died on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, while living at Countryside Manor. She was born in Sheboygan on October 7th, 1942, to the late William and Henny Baustian Jasper.
Marianne worked at Ross Glove Company for many years then got a part-time job at Lakeshore Lanes where she was lucky to meet her wonderful husband! She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
She enjoyed fishing with her husband and was very proud of catching a large Sturgeon her first time out. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and she would never turn down a day trip to the casino. She tried to have fun no matter what she did.
She has two children, Lorie Scharenbroch and her husband Jim, and a son Tony Wilke. Grandchildren, Melissa, her husband Al Meyer and their children Blake and Lilly, Mike and his wife Jewel and their children Grant, Greyson, and Rose.
She then met her wonderful husband August (Gus) Stempihar and was united in marriage on October 10, 1989. He preceded her in death on December 21st, 2020. She was lucky to have another great family, stepchildren Susan Davis (Edward), Steven Stempihar, Stuart (Corrie) Stempihar, and grandchildren Jaymz and Alexa Stempihar and Sloan and Fiona Davis. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister Renata Soto.
In accordance with Marianne’s wishes, private services will be held.
