Phil Zimmermann, 85, of Sheboygan, passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Sheboygan Senior Community. He was born on December 2, 1939 to the late Leland and Dorothy (Falk) Zimmermann in Sheboygan. Phil attended Immanuel Lutheran grade school and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1958. He was united in marriage to Lynne Najacht in 1964 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Lynne preceded Phil in death in 2013. Phil worked in the trades for many years starting at Ted Kuck and went on to build his own successful business in the sheet metal and HVAC industry, Zimmermann Sheet Metal. He served as the President in the Sheboygan Jaycees and at the Sheboygan Theatre Company where he was very active.
Phil is survived by his three daughters, Jackie (Dan) Blindauer, Nan “The Rotten Fruit” Gibson and Angie (Rich) Hauer; grandchildren, Zach Blindauer (Lauren Fitzgerald) and Alex Blindauer, Christy (Dan) Ninneman, Stephanie Gibson, Katie and Emily Hauer; great-grandchildren, Elliott, Fitzgerald, Adrian, Ariya and Sterling.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and sister Rogene (Wayne) Neese.
A memorial service will be held for Phil at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 730 County Rd. PPP, Sheboygan Falls, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Wildwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established in Phil’s name.
