Keith T. Montgomery, age 74, of Sheboygan. Heaven gained an Angel on Friday, January 9, 2026. He was a caring brother to Dale Montgomery, Paula (Dan) Switalski and Anne (Steven) Moe. He enjoyed his many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Keith was born on March 31, 1951, in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin to the late Charles and Mary (Biederman) Montgomery. His family moved to Sheboygan, Wisconsin in the summer of 1961. From a very young age Keith loved music and mastered playing the violin. He was a 1969 graduate from South High School, then earned his BA in Music at UW Eau Claire. He furthered his music education at the University of West Virginia at Morgantown where he was concert master. Keith returned to Sheboygan where he worked as an Industrial Engineer at Thomas Industries for twenty-five years.
Keith gave his life to God in 1979. He loved the Lord with his whole heart leading many to Christ throughout the years. He shared that this was his true job. His family and friends know that Keith was greeted at the gates of heaven at 12:03 Friday afternoon. And he heard God say, “well done my son”.
Keith will be missed; his infectious smile, his competitive spirit in playing cards and board games with family, playing croquet commissioner at summer picnics and his uncanny recounting of childhood stories.
A memorial service for Keith will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.
