Judith Lynn Hayon, born April 28th, 1951 joined other family members in Heaven on February 14, 2026.
Judy was the oldest daughter of Harold and Wilma Nelson (nee Wiegand). She was a 1969 graduate of Sheboygan South High. On July 12th, 1975 she was united in marriage to William J. Hayon at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Their sons Robert W. and Steven M. were born in 1976 and 1979 respectfully.
Judy was a charter member of Good Shepherd and sang in the church choir. She played flute and oboe in the South High band. After graduation, she went to work for Kohler Co. and retired in 2013. She traveled to Hawaii and Puerto Rico with friends and to Mexico and other locales with Bill and other family members.
In retirement, Judy enjoyed reading and caring for her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping on-line and keeping her house clean.
Judy is survived by her husband Bill, her sons and daughter-in-laws, Robert (Karly) and Steven (Mollie Toonen). Five grandchildren, Lauren, Will, Annalee, Isabelle, and Michael Hayon. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, her in-laws, William F. and Dorothy S. Hayon (nee Gerbinsky), her brother and sister-in-law James and Karen Nelson, and her uncles, aunts and several cousins.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Monday February 23rd, 2026 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1614 South 23rd St. Sheboygan, WI from 1:00 to 2:45 pm. Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Christian Gugel officiating.
Memorials may be made in Judy’s name to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
The family would like to extend their extreme gratitude to the nursing staff at The Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic (Sheboygan), The Aurora Medical Center (Sheboygan ER and care departments), St. Luke’s Cancer Center (Milwaukee), and The Sharon S. Richardson Hospice Center (Sheboygan Falls) for the kind and gentle care given to Judy during her frequent visits and needs.
Also to Dr. Xiao (Dr. Woody), Dr. Boll, Dr. Winkler, Dr. Patel, Dr.Bobili, and others throughout her treatments.
