Loretta Ann Stevens Booth was born on August 13th, 1941, in Marengo, IA to the late Ben and Florence Stevens. She grew up on a farm and was one of thirteen children. She made her transition to Heaven on February 22nd, 2026.
She graduated from high school in Conroy, IA in 1959 and later moved to Cedar Rapids, IA where she lived and worked for several years. Upon moving to Sheboygan, she was united in marriage to John Booth and had two daughters and two stepdaughters (Sheri Polster, Jaclyn Divine, Kathy Lett, Michelle Chastain Collins).
Loretta worked at Thomas Industries in Sheboygan for over forty years in Human Resources. When she retired, she volunteered and was hired to work at the gift shop at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital for 10 years. She volunteered at St. Vicent De Paul and was a devout Catholic and very active in her church community at Immaculate Conception Parish.
Loretta is preceded in death by her late husband (Jack), her parents, seven brothers (LeRoy, David, Donald, LaVerne, Gary, Tom, Bernie) and three sisters (Patricia, Mary, Janet).
Loretta is survived by her daughters: Sheri, Jaclyn (husband Marty), Kathy, Michelle (husband Scott), grandchildren: Blake, Ciera, Trey, Alissa, Austin, Leslie, Tanner, Kristin, Ryne, great-grandchildren: Reed, Mallory, Avery, River, Jordan, Calla and Maya. She is further survived by her two sisters: Marcella Hilton and Beverly (Larry) Neswold, brother-in-law, Robert Seye and sisters-in-law: Janet, Gelene and Diane Stevens and her nephew, Paul (Mary) Messich and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews across the nation.
She was a friend to everyone and never knew a stranger. She loved her family and friends dearly and coveted time with them. One of her most endearing qualities was how graciously she gave on her time to those in need. Loretta will be sadly missed but always remembered.
Loretta’s family would like to thank Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Home for their dedicated and compassionate care and the Aurora Medical Center doctors and staff.
In addition, the family extends a heartfelt thank you to the numerous Care Givers for their empathetic and devoted care in the last year of Loretta’s life (Shari Olson, Marjean Mueller, Mary Jo Messich, Ruth Madson, Clarie Pelto and Blake Polster).

A funeral service will be held at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home located at 1535 South 12th Street in Sheboygan, WI on Saturday, February 28th at 12:00pm with Father Paul Fliss officiating the service. A time of visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home starting at 10:00a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
