Dennis Farmer was born October 18, 1949, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to Lawrence and Evelyn Card Farmer. He was a six and a half year lung cancer survivor entering eternal life on March 27, 2026.
Dennis graduated from Mishicot High School in Mishicot, Wisconsin in 1968. He married the love of his life, Elizabeth (Betty) Shesta Farmer, on November 2, 1968. He is a Vietnam Era Veteran serving 20 years in the United States Army with three tours in Germany, retiring as a Sergeant First Class. After retiring from the United States Army, he opened his own Handyman Service specializing in air condition and appliance repair. Dennis spent 22 months in Iraq working for Kellogg Brown and Root as an air conditioner repair man.
Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Evelyn Farmer, brother, Michael Farmer, niece, Krishna Farmer, and nephew, Marcus Farmer.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Farmer of Leesville, LA; two sons, Dennis Farmer Jr. (Gayle) of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and David (Evelyn) Farmer of New Market, Alabama; four grandchildren, Mikal (Aubrey) Bunn, Christopher (Tiffany) Bunn, Cooper Farmer, and Pixie Farmer; four great grandchildren, Kaylee, Ellie, Levi, and Olivia; five brothers, Douglas (Kay) Farmer of Fairchild, Wisconsin, Jeffrey (Kris) Farmer Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Bob (Bonnie) Farmer of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, Larry (Jenny) Farmer of Puerto Rico, and John (Chrissy) Farmer of Thorpe, Wisconsin; three sisters, Linda (John) Ericson of Homer, Alaska, Mary (Joseph) Guidry of Glenmora, Louisiana, and Ann (Norm) Schneider of Glenbeulah, Wisconsin. Also, a mass of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the Lutheran Cemetery and Garden Terrace Mausoleum of Sheboygan, Wisconsin under the direction of Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home of Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, any contribution can be made to the American Cancer Society for lung cancer.
