Elaine Borgardt was born on September 15, 1935 and passed away on April 18, 2026 at the age of 90. She attended local schools and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1954. Elaine was united in marriage with David Borgardt on September 18, 1954 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, playing BINGO, family events, spending time with her granddaughters, playing cards and taking pictures. Elaine was also a member of the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia Greater Sheboygan Chapter.
Elaine is survived by her children, Steve (Senen) Borgardt and Linda (Lyle) Pierce; granddaughters, Jennifer Pierce and Jessica Pierce (Logan Arndt); sister-in-law, Janice Wierzbach and brother-in-law, Mike Feudner; great grand kitties, Juno and Fern and great grand puppy, Teddy. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Elaine is preceded in death by her husband, David Borgardt; parents, Lester and Frieda Wierzbach; siblings, Roger Wierzbach and Lois Feudner; father and mother-in-law, Henry and Dorothea Borgardt and brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 917 Mead Ave., Sheboygan, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Sheboygan Senior Community in Elaine’s name are appreciated.
