James Thorson was born on September 12, 1954 and passed away on August 4, 2026 at the age of 71. He attended local schools including Sheboygan South High School. Jim was always good with people and enjoyed driving the shuttle bus for the American Club where he was able to meet the occasional celebrity. He was an avid sports fan and especially liked the Brewers and Packers. Jim also enjoyed going to concerts, collecting vinyl records and sports memorabilia.
Jim is survived by his sisters, Jana Thorson, Tracie (Peter) Govek; stepmother, Kay Thorson; stepbrother, Randy (Kim) Ragaisis; aunt, Mary Thorson; close personal friends, Jason Rautmann, Dave Eirich and Tom Genson. He is further survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Thorson and Jacqueline (Grant) Rastbaumwieser; stepbrother, Mark and good friend, Robert “Yogi” Krug.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
