John Scott Grandlic, age 64, of the Town of Greenbush, died on Thursday, May 27, 2021 at his home. He was born in Sheboygan on January 4, 1957, the son of John and Francha Meyer Grandlic.
He attended Horace Mann Middle School and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1975. John was the operations manager at Joe Van Horn for many years and then the parts and service manager at Rank Buick in Milwaukee. John retired from Fairchild Equipment as the service manager.
He was a past member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sheboygan. John enjoyed snowmobiling, cars, auto racing and he was the founder of RPM Speed & Custom in the mid 70’s.
Survivors include his four children, Christopher (Reina) Grandlic, of Sacramento, CA, Heather (Matt) Mayer, of DePere, Patrick Van Horn, of Park City, Utah, and Ryan Grandlic, of Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Spencer (Rebecca), Hunter, Makeila and Tristin Mayer; his mother, Francha Grandlic, of Sheboygan; aunt, Barbara White; and his special friend, Anna. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his father, John “Jack” Grandlic and a brother, Daniel Grandlic.
A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1305 Humbolt Ave. with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name. The Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reinboldfh.com
