Jovani Dotson was born on July 11, 2021 and sadly departed life on November 10, 2021. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allen Swygert and Latoya Dotson and his uncle, Kevin Shrewsbery Jr. He is survived by his loving parents, Jordan Dotson and Kavonteuna Goodlow; his beautiful sister, Siraya Goodlow; grandparents, Badria Goodlow, Kevin Shrewsberry and Maria Shrewsbery; great grandparents, Beatrice Chestnut, Ervin Goodlow, Waukee Goodlow, Henrietia Davis and Herman Shrewsbery; uncles Corey Goodlow, Matthew Reilly, Isaiah Shrewsbery, Elijah Shrewsbery, Angel Shrewsberry, Nevaeh Shrewsberry Allen Swygert and Juawon Dotson; aunts, Gianna Shrewsberry, Tabitha Dotson, Asia Dotson and Haeven Dotson and a host of great uncles, great aunts, and cousins that will love and miss him always.
Jovani was a very happy and joyful baby. He was always laughing and smiling, especially at his big sister and parents. Though he was only with us for four months; life should be measured not by the number of years but rather by the love shared, the memories made, the joy given, and the blessings received.
A celebration of our sonshine will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.
