Lynne Gmach was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world after a week-long battle that could not be won. Lynne passed Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at the age of 79.
She was born to Kenneth and Jean Krueger on October 26, 1942. She married her high school sweetheart and they shared 47 years together, creating two beautiful children that made her proud. Lynne’s greatest accomplishments were being mom and “granny”.
Lynne loved her family and friends and most enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren, watching them excel and grow. She was extremely talented and had a skilled hand that created wonderful homemade country crafts; oftentimes creating her own patterns with special, unique touches. She enjoyed displaying and selling those treasures at craft shows throughout the years. All who knew Lynne knew she loved the slot machines. The ringing and dinging brought instant joy to her. Another love of hers was the holidays shared with family; from baking dozens upon dozens of cookies every year to stuffing and hiding hundreds of Easter eggs for the grandchildren to search for. Lynne’s spunky personality never let her opinions go unknown. She loved and cared empathetically for all animals and especially loved lap visits with her “grandson” Finley.
Lynne is survived by a loving family: her son Todd, daughter-in-law Lisa, their children Ayden and Zach; her daughter Kim (Joe Kwiatkowski) Senglaub, her children Brandon and Brooke; her sister Penny (Dick) Tetschlag, their children Craig (Aline) and Cara (Doug) in CA; her cousin Nannette (Rich) Neerhof; brothers-in-law Tom (Wendy) and Don (Nancy); aunt Sandy Krueger, and other cousins, nieces, and nephews, along with her many friends she shared conversations with on the phone for hours each day.
Her husband, Richard “Dick”, preceded her in death on January 7, 2008. Lynne spent her remaining years loving and missing him. Also preceding her in death are her parents and parent in-laws, Joseph and Dorothy Gmach.
