Robert J. Borzyskowski , 87, of Amberg, WI., passed away Tuesday morning March 29,2022, after a brief illness. Robert was born in Milwaukee on November 30, 1934, to Max and Anna (O’Dea) Borzyskowsi., one of eleven children. On October 26, 1953, he was united in marriage to Rogene (Lade) in Waukegan, Illinois.
Robert lived and worked in Milwaukee half of his life, and in 1973, joined the Kohler Company as a Master Electrician. He enjoyed working there and developed many long-lasting friendships as a result. He also cherished lifelong friendships formed from his childhood, which he was fortunate to retain over all the years. Bob also enjoyed the outdoors with his family and friends. Countless days hunting, fishing, and camping were all great escapes in his free time. Almost all activities entailed great conversation, endless jokes, and lasting memories. He was proud of his Polish descent and was one of the few siblings to not shorten and legally change his surname to Bores.
When Bob and Rogene retired to Northern Wisconsin, they found great pleasure in everything it had to offer. It was finally time to reap the rewards of their hard work. His oldest friends, Jimmy, Bob, Fritz, John, and Bud, all joined in the journey Up North, remaining close to their dying days.

“There is a sacredness in tears.
They are not the mark of weakness, but of power.
They speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues.
They are messengers of overwhelming grief . . . and unspeakable love.”
—Washington Irving

Robert is survived by his son, William (Donna) Borzyskowski, granddaughter, Erin Gail (Lee) Olson, Milwaukee; daughter-in-law, Laura, Sheboygan, sisters, Evelyn Luttropp, East Troy, Marianne Branske, Milwaukee, brothers-in-law Robert (Carla) Lade, Russel (Pat) Lade; three sisters-in-law, Rosaly Sanok, Roxann Moore, and Rommel “Jane” Hardee. Bill, my condolences to you and the family. I will always remember Boris and all the fun we had at Kettle Moraine Lake and at the cottage up north. Boris and Rogene always treated me like family when we were camping and whatnot. Many great memories with them. He was a great guy and will be missed. God Bless. Mark K.
