Edwin G. Livermore, 91, of Sheboygan, was called to heaven by his Lord and Savior Jesus on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Sunny Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Edwin was born to the late Lyle and Margaret (Dobrenz) Livermore on August 9, 1931 in Sheboygan. He attended Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Sheboygan. On March 15, 1958 Edwin was united in marriage to Kathleen Mohr at Trinity Parsonage after a short engagement. Edwin worked at various foundries in the area and finished his career at Kohler Co. after 35 years with the company. He loved baseball and the Brewers, enjoyed camping with family and was a handyman around the house and with woodworking projects with his children and grandchildren. He was also a motorcycle enthusiast.
Edwin is survived by his wife of 65 years, Kathy; children, Brenda Ahlstrom (Tenold Kusch), Peggy (Ron) Lauersdorf, Karin (Russ) Peterson, Glenn (Darlene) Livermore, Tim (Cathi) Livermore, Tracy Livermore, Angee Livermore; grandchildren, Steven, Jason, James, Kristina, Leeann, Lori, Randy, Amber, Aaron, Destiny, Tristan, Cade, Cami, Desi, Dustin, Danica, Chaska and Yuriah; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma Solum and Annette Hoffman as well as other relatives and friends, including Wendy (Dave) Young.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy; sister, Loretta; brothers, Roger, Sam, Herman and baby Paul; son-in-law, Robert Ahlstrom and great-grandchild, Lucy Grace.
A funeral for Edwin will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Ave., Sheboygan with Pastor Timothy J. Mech officiating. There will be a time of visitation at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lutheran Cemetery.
