Antoinette “Toni” M. Reischl, age 77, of Sheboygan, died on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison. She was born in Sheboygan on February 25, 1949, to the late Anton and Lillian Plautz.
Toni attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1967. On October 4, 1969, she was united in marriage to John Gerald Reischl III at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Sheboygan. John preceded her in death on January 10, 2025. Toni and John were married for 55 years. She started her career as a switchboard operator for Sheboygan County and retired as secretary for the Sheboygan County Health Office.
She enjoyed traveling with John, and their son Michael and grandson, Payton, to California, south Florida, and most everywhere in between. Toni also liked going to the casino and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Michael Reischl; grandson, Payton Reischl, both of Sheboygan; a sister, Eunice Plautz, of North Lake, IL; four sisters-in-law, Kim (Jim Brunette) Reischl, Rose Handville, Jacqueline Ruppel, all of Sheboygan, and Patricia Reischl, of Plymouth. Many other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Wallace Plautz, and her sister, Marilyn Dettlaf.
In accordance with Toni’s wishes no services will be held a cremation will take place.
