Ardell Brandt, age 87, of Plymouth, formerly of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday September 17, 2025, just a few days before her birthday. Ardell was born September 20, 1937, in Sheboygan to the late Floyd and Myrtel (Van Akkeren) Maxey. On October 23, 1961, she was united in marriage to Paul Brandt; he preceded her in death in 1992. Ardell enjoyed reading, playing bingo, doing crafts, going to craft fairs, following the Packers and loved anything having to do with Elvis. In Ardell’s earlier days she was an auxiliary police officer for the Sheboygan Police Department.
Ardell is survived by her sons Robert (Lynne) Pfister of Sheboygan Falls, Jim (Melissa) Pfister of Manitowoc, Ronald Brandt of South Milwaukee, Bill (Karri) Brandt of Sheboygan Falls, grandchildren Robert Pfister Jr., Jeremy Pfister, Lynn Pfister, Morgan (Adam) Wolfe, Alex (Bri) Brandt and numerous great-grandchildren.
Ardell was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Eugene and Melvin, and sisters Betty Maxey and Diane (Victor) Felde.
Family and friends may gather at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Tuesday September 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for the American Diabetes Association.
