Ardyth Gross

Ardyth Gross, age 85, of Sheboygan, died on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Sheboygan Health Services. She was born in Sheboygan on July 17, 1937, the daughter of the late Charles Sr. and Aurelia Merkel Strysick.
Ardyth attended local schools in Sheboygan. On July 16, 1955, she was united in marriage to Harvey G. Gross Sr. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. She was a current member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Harvey preceded her in death on April 9, 2012. Ardyth enjoyed sewing, gardening, and crafting.
Survivors include her two loving children, Harvey (Ruth) Gross, of Whitelaw, and Cheryl Wozniak, of Sheboygan; grandchildren, Becky Mikulaj and her children, Colleen and Taylor Mikulaj, Andy (Sara) Hermann and their children, Max and Ella Herman, and Rachel Hermann and her son, Jonah.; her brothers, Charles (Grace) Strysick Jr., of Sheboygan, and Darrell (Mary Ann) Strysick, of Sheboygan Falls. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends further survive. Ardyth was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son-in-law, Peter Wozniak, a brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Joyce Strysick, and a sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Robert Knaub.
A memorial service for Ardyth will be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Rev Patrick Niles officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery.
The family wishes to thank the friends and neighbors who assisted in allowing her to stay in her home. A special thank you to the staff at Sheboygan Health Services for their excellent care of our mom during her stay, and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for making her last days comfortable. Also, to Community Care Inc. Dan and Kristin for all their help and guidance.
Memorials are appreciated for Bethlehem Lutheran School and Church, and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. We love you mom, rest in peace.
