Barbara Emma (Schubert) Mindock of Sheboygan, WI, went home to heaven on November 27, 2024, at the age of 87 years.

Barb was born in Milwaukee, WI, to Clarence and Marie (Scherzer) Schubert on November 7, 1937. She was baptized a child of God and later confirmed in the Christian faith on May 13, 1951, at St. Lucas Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Barb attended St. Lucas Lutheran School from kindergarten through 8th grade. She graduated from Bay View High School in 1955.

On March 3, 1962, Barb married Edward Mindock of Milwaukee at St. Lucas Church. They moved to Sheboygan to build a home and were blessed with 4 children. Barb enjoyed caring for the busyness of their young family and home but soon added another role working as a consultant for Beeline Fashions. Later on she worked as a waitress, a baker, and at Walmart. She was always active at her church, singing in the choir, and volunteering at her children’s Christian schools. In later years, she enjoyed keeping up with the lives of the grandchildren and the score of the Brewers game.

Barb is survived by her son Mark (Karie) of Kaukauna, WI; son Alan (Kristen) of North Hills, CA; son David of Sheboygan; daughter Alane (Mark) Kaesmeyer of Coon Rapids, MN; her grandchildren Maralee, Jared, Alexander, Clara, Ethan, Emmalee, Aubrey, Austin, Jacob, and Kalyn. She is also survived by her sister Ellen Wellstein of Waukesha.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, who passed away one week earlier; her parents; her brother-in-law Wilmer Wellstein; and many cousins.

A visitation will be held at Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church in Sheboygan on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon immediately after. A private committal service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in loving memory of Barb to support Manitowoc Lutheran High School, a school she strongly supported and where her children attended.
