Barbara J. Kirchner, age 58, of Sheboygan passed away Thursday, June 19, 2025. Barbara was born January 31, 1967, in Sheboygan to the late Kenneth and Rogene (Federer) Kirchner. Barbara was a 1985 graduate of North High School. She furthered her education at UW-Oshkosh, earning her bachelor’s in science, Degree in Juris Doctor from Ohio Northern in 1993, and was entered into the Wisconsin State Bar in 1994. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Army during Desert Storm and then served in the reserves. While serving in the Army, she was involved in the JAG Corp. Barbara was known for her integrity and compassion to her clients. Barbara owned and operated her own firm, Kirchner Law Office, S.C. in Sheboygan for 32 years. She sponsored the Midwest Boxing Association and provided them with a boxing ring. She also supported her husband Kurt’s professional wrestling career. Barbara loved playing and snuggling with her cats, she was an avid Dr. Who fan, she enjoyed doing puzzles, making candles, and spending time with family. Barbara is survived by her loving husband Kurt, daughter Krista Rowe of Manitowoc, two grandchildren Evelyn Rowe and Cloud Garrigan, brothers and sisters Judith Pfrang of Manitowoc, Kenneth (Ellen) Kirchner of Milwaukee, Debbie Houwers of Sheboygan, Larry Kirchner of Sheboygan, and Steve (Amy) Kirchner of Plymouth. Nieces and nephews Amy Pfrang, Scott Pfrang, William Houwers, Lisa (Jason) Cote, Nicole (Jesse) Kirchner, Larry (Crystal) Kirchner, Doug Kirchner, Adam Kirchner and many great nieces and great nephews. Mother-in-law Wendy Jo Dankwardt, sister-in-law Kim (Mark) Kallas, sister-in-law Kori (Shannon) Richter and nieces and nephews Breanne Knocke-Angell, Kyle Kallas Ryan (Mari) Richter and Nina Kallas. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister Mary Jo Kirchner and a brother-in-law Randall Pfrang. Family and friends may gather at Hope Community Church, 2916 S. 11th Street, Sheboygan on Friday June 27. 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Mike Thomas will officiate. Burial will take place in the Lutheran Cemetery with military honors being accorded by VFW Post #9156. Barbara’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to Nichole Shilts and my dear niece, Niki Kirchner for their many years of dedication to Kirchner Law Office, S.C.
