Barbara Vogt, 84, formerly of Kohler, passed away peacefully September 1, 2024 at Sheboygan Progressive Health Services.
Barbara was born March 24, 1940 in Sheboygan, daughter of Dorothy (Jacobs) & Harold Pantel. Raised in Kohler, she attended Kohler High School, graduating in 1958.
On January 3, 1964 she was united in marriage to Raymond Vogt in Waukegan, IL. Raymond preceded her in death in 1998.
Barbara worked as an executive secretary for Kohler Company for 34 years. She loved and took pride in her work, making many good friends throughout her employment. Barbara retired in 2004 and loved the leisure retirement brought.
Barbara was a lifelong member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler and served on the Altar Guild for many years.
Barbara was a voracious reader and had a vast book collection that could rival a library. Her knowledge of geography, travel, and cooking was vast and impressive. Barb never tired of her love of reading. She also enjoyed the challenge of a good puzzle and spent endless hours bent over her puzzle table. She had a lifelong love of cats and hers were all treated like royalty.
Barbara enjoyed keeping in touch with and sharing a meal with friends, both from her Kohler High School years as well as friends made at Kohler Company.
Barbara is survived by her sons Michael (Sheryl) Lindstrom of Kohler, William Vogt of Sheboygan and daughter Vicki Lindstrom of Kohler; grandchildren Greg (Courtney) Lindstrom, Rachael (Cory) Zigterman, Rebecca (Mike) Scola, Christina (Garrett) Griswold, Marion (Jeffrey) Otradovec and Jayetta Bourne; great-grandchildren Gemma, Gino, Gio, Christopher, Olivia, Andrew, Elijah, Bella, and Aubrey.
Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Raymond and parents Dorothy & Harold Pantel.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Kohler. A memorial fund is being established in Barbara’s name.

It was clear these organizations employ deeply caring individuals that helped make our journey with Barbara heartfelt.
