Benjamin James Zastrow, 44, of Sheboygan, WI passed away on June 26, 2021, at his home. He was born July 12, 1976, in Sheboygan, WI.
He met and fell in love with Laura Cruz of Sheboygan. They welcomed Kiersten Ashley in 2003 and Jenelle Lynn in 2012. Ben worked in Construction for most of his adult life. He owned and operated Benjamin Built Construction.
He had a big heart, loved everybody he met and had unique ability to forgive everyone. He had no hate toward others. Ben enjoyed the Riverfront in Sheboygan, snowmobiling, fishing, music & dancing, and coffee with his grandma and uncles at the Weather Center; but most of all, he loved spending time with his two beautiful girls. He was so proud and honored to be their dad.
Benjamin survived by his daughters, Kiersten, and Jenelle Zastrow; a sister, Chelsea Greene and her children, Gavin, Makenna and Ella Greene; his half siblings, Nick and Stephanie Zastrow, Corey, and Cole Wallace; mother, Melissa Cornell;
his cousins, Tracy Frazier and Jennifer Zastrow; uncles, Aaron (Cherie) Gabrielse and their daughter Lilyahna, Paul Gabrielse and his children Jamie and Ashli and his aunt, Kara Bergin and her son, Chad Bergin.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Zastrow, paternal grandfather, Orville “Ozzie” Zastrow, paternal grandmother, Blossum and Gordon Sommerfelt, maternal grandmother, Loy K. McFarland, maternal grandfather, Marvin Gabrielse, and his aunt, Robin Farrell.
A memorial service for Benjamin will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at City Church, 2313 N. 31st Street, Sheboygan with Pastor Mark Brunn officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
