Bernice in my mind was everyone's grandma at the facility, I was very perplexed by just how many people seemed to know her from those who did, hearing stories of her days babysitting some of their children, and some who'd see her out sometimes. But it would seem both by their words, and her own, that she was spread out far and wide. A one in a million personality, a real roughneck if I've ever met one, and undoubtedly an incredibly sweet and kind woman. I always enjoyed our conversations, enjoyed hearing about her life when she'd speak on it, and honestly it was quite beautiful the way the other residents looked out for her at times.. Bernice will be sincerely missed, and like others I can think off the top of my head, it was an absolute honor and a privilege to both care for her and call her my friend. My condolences to you all at this time.

Grandma Bernice was a hoot to care for. You will be missed. Fly high and chase the butterflies.

My son and I were sad to hear of Bernice's passing. I was one of Bernice's Nurses at Progressive and my son lived to come and see *Grandma Bernice" and she always remembered him! She loved to carry around the colorful stuffie he gave her and would tell people it was from "a sweet little boy." My son (who just turned 9!) wanted you all to know that "Bernice was my favorite Grandma to visit at Momma's work and I will miss her forever." May my dearest Bernice forever rest in peace and may all of her family and friends find peace knowing she is now with our Lord. We love you, Nurse Andrea & Tristan

Never a dull moment spent with my friend Bernice! The life of the party! We would sing old songs together and there was always a story to be told! Jokes and fun, such great memories I have! Anyone that knew her definitely was surrounded by laughter! I specifically remember Bernice when the song, Out Behind the Barn played! If you know, you know….
