Broer “Bud” Adema, age 87, of Sheboygan Falls passed away Sunday May 14, 2023. Bud was born September 19, 1935, in Franeker Friesland, Netherlands to the late Peter and Johanna (De Haan) Adema. Bud came to the United States and was employed by Kohler Company for years prior to working for Anhalt Construction as a carpenter. On December 8, 1955, Bud was united in marriage to Grace Boersma; she preceded him in death on December 22, 2016.
Survivors include sons Peter Adema of Howards Grove and Wayne Adema of Sheboygan, daughter Carol Hackney of Sheboygan Falls, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, brother Rick Adema of Sheboygan and three sisters Hilly (Jim) Ver Velde of Sheboygan, Johanna (Randy) Hedstrom of Sheboygan and Annie Wriedt of Howards Grove.
Bud was preceded in death by his wife Grace, parents, daughter Christina and a brother John.
Family and friends may gather at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Fr. Subi Thomas will officiate. The burial will take place in the Wildwood Cemetery.
