Carl and Carol were wonderful long-time friends. It is sad to learn of his passing, but I am sure he is now in a happy place. My sympathy goes out to all the family.

Carl and my husband Ed were best buds at Central College. I have many fond memories of Carl and precious Carol. What a blessing it is to have known such a gentle and loving couple, a true reflection of the Lord Jesus.

I was very fond of Carl. A gentle man who was very kind to me. I knew Carl through Unity Presbyterian Church. I sat next to him frequently. May he now enjoy the treasures in Heaven God has in store for him.

We were saddened to hear of Carl’s passing. He was such a gentle soul and is undoubtedly resting in the arms of the angels and joyful to be reunited with Carol. We have such fond memories of our days on South Center Street. What a blessing to have such wonderful neighbors❤️

Carl was my grandfather. He always loved visiting his grandkids, myself included. He used to hand-craft gifts for us like wooden toy cars, rocking horses, and even a bookcase. I was his roommate one summer in 2016, when I had an internship near Paris, IL and needed a place to stay nearby. We spent a lot of time together for those 3 months and I’ll cherish the conversations and advice he gave me.

Carl was our boss at Commercial Solvents/Pitman Moore and a good boss.
