Carol Neese, age 72, of Sheboygan, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. She was born in Sheboygan on December 12, 1949, the daughter of the late Walter and Philomena Leonard Plehn.
Carol attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1968. On March 25, 1972, she was united in marriage to Neal Neese in Sheboygan. She was employed as an accounts payable clerk at Fresh Brands in Sheboygan until 2010.
Carol was longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sheboygan. She enjoyed watching all Wisconsin sports, especially the Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers. Carol loved to read, garden, being outside and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Neal Neese, of Sheboygan; four children, Allyson, of Sheboygan, Steven (Brittney), of Lisbon, Iowa, Robert (Leann) Neese, of Menomonee Falls, and Andrea Neese, of Middleton; three grandchildren, Peyton, Quinn, and Hannah Neese; three sisters-in-law, Shelby Truttschel, Bonnie (Dale) Spindler, and June (Donnie) Wiemann, all of Sheboygan; and her two brothers-in-law, Dale (Diane) Neese, of Elkhart Lake, and Gary Neese, of Sheboygan Falls. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Her parents, and two sisters, Cathy Dyminski and Marcia Fredricks, all preceded her death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1305 Humboldt Ave. Sheboygan with Fr. Subi Thomas officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Carol’s name may be directed to the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. A heart felt thank you is extended to the entire staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community, especially Kristin Shepherd for the compassion and care that was given to her.
