Carol Mae Wolf, age 85, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 24, 2024, at her home. She was born in Manitowoc County on April 10, 1939, to the late Joseph and Lydia Kohout Novachek.

Carol attended and graduated from Mishicot High School in 1957. She then went to beauty school in Green Bay. On October 3, 1959, she was united in marriage to Leander “Lee” Wolf at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot. Lee preceded her in death on February 11, 2018. Carol was also a current member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Sheboygan.

Carol was a homemaker, beautician, and a salesclerk at The Necessity Room in Sheboygan until her retirement. She loved to travel to Sanibel Island in Florida with Lee, decorating for all holidays, and competing in online word games. Carol cherished her family, especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She always said that “chocolate malts cured all problems.”

Survivors include her two sons, Bart (Tenley) Wolf, of Valparaiso, IN, and Joe (Amy) Wolf, of Brookfield, WI; five grandchildren, Daria (Adam) Burch, Bryce Wolf, Garrett (fiancée Kathrine) Wolf, Alex (Emma) Wolf, and Nick (fiancée Allison) Wolf; two great-grandchildren, Ellarie and Sterling. Many other relatives and friends further survive. Carol was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, and her two sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Carol will be celebrated on Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 818 Huron Ave. Sheboygan. Family and friends may gather at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mishicot, WI.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to the Sheboygan Meals on Wheels program. The Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reinboldfh.com
